| Lisa’s dancing career started when she was 8 years old at Generation Dance Co. where she quickly began to absorb the many different styles of dance, excelling in tap and cabaret. Lisa has been teaching for over 20 years at Generation Dance Co, initially as a student teacher whilst working her way up to achieve her full Teacher credentials. (Teachers Diploma T.A.A.D. Honours) Lisa is trained in Jazz Ballet, Tap, & Cabaret. As a Teacher, Lisa provides an excellent education in dance technique to students of all ages.
Lisa has a vast back ground as a performer including competitions, recitals, festivals and as a member of a precision drill team. Lisa toured and performed at such places as Ayers Rock, Melbourne cricket ground, Melbourne Concert Hall, Carols by candlelight, Moomba parades, derby day and remote places like Broome, Mt Isa, Kununurra. |
Lisa believes having fun is an important part of learning to dance. This is displayed in her approach to teaching, as she blends structure, discipline and a high standard of technique,, while encouraging students through the foundations of dance. |
